BASEL NASRI, PARTNER & GENERAL MANAGER
Basel Nasri is the General Manager and founding partner of planIt consulting. Basel personifies planIt’s commitment to delivering high quality services to its clients. He has built a reputation for his integrity, strong work ethic, and exceptional ability to foster client relationships.
Earlier in his career, Basel joined Mitsubishi Corporation where he gathered fifteen years of rich experience, managing different assignments and being exposed to trade and industry. Basel’s achievement at Mitsubishi earned him the prestigious Global Leadership Award.
Basel, an entrepreneur at heart, ventured with his own start-ups. In 1992 he founded Nexus Trading, specializing in oilfield equipment and supplies. Later, towards the end of 2004 he started Magic Eventz, an event management company boasting high-end press relations.
In a quest to fulfilling his personal mission statement, Basel Nasri with a few of his friends founded the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association (SYEA) that was launched in January 2004. SYEA currently comprises 300 active members. Basel Nasri was the chairperson of the board of SYEA for two terms, from Jan’04 to Apr’07.
Basel Nasri represents planIt in a number of external venues. He is a co-founder and board member of the Management & Marketing Club that is in coordination with the European Commission Training Center in Damascus, Syria. He is also a member of the Syrian Management Consulting Association, and board member of Bidaya.
In 2012, Basel Nasri was elected to sit on the board of Hifz AlNemeh Charity Organization, where he channels his compassion to providing helping hand to over 30,000 registered deprived families.
In 2015, Basel Nasri was elected as Vice Chairperson of Dar-Quraish Orphans Home, catering for the wellbeing and educational development of over 300 orphans every year.
Basel obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Detroit, Michigan. He holds an International Certification of Managerial Training. He is happily married, and a father of three

LOUAI AL-MONAJED, PARTNER & CONSULTANT
Louai Al-Monajed joined planit consulting in 2007 in partnership, after gaining seven years of experience as a project development manager with the multinational Kuzbari Group. He worked on large scale contracts such as the rehabilitation of the General Company for Paper & Board at Deir Ezour, executing Syria’s first public sector industrial ROT contract. He was also project manager for the Syrian German Telecom Co., a joint venture between GTC Germany and STE Syria.
Louai has had successful previous experience with an entrepreneurial project in the beauty supply business in the USA, as well as working for the Mitsubishi Corporation – Damascus Liaison Office, and working for Mahjoub House for Industry and Trade as export & import manager and internal procedures controller.
Louai served as Vice president of the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association for 2005-07. Currently, Louai sits on the board of directors of AlBaraks Assosiation for Social Development catering for over 7,000 displaced and needy families.
Louai holds a diploma in Business Administration, and is extensively trained in quality control and management. He is happily married and a father of three.

HANI TARABISHI, PARTNER & CONSULTANT
In 2000, Hani Tarabichi co-founded PlanIt consulting where he consulted and trained extensively for the past 16 years. Hani coached and trained private sector companies and individuals on topics like marketing strategies, sales management, customer service, leadership, and communication. In 2001, Hani Co-founded the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association where he served as Vice President for 2 terms. In 2003, Hani qualified as a Certified Professional Trainer.
Hani has over 17 years of management experience at Chaoui & Co. as a general manager for the paper & board division.
In 2005, Hani started lecturing at the University of Kalamoon business school where he delivered courses on entrepreneurship and small business, Leadership management. Marketing strategy, marketing management, and introduction to marketing.
In 2009, Hani led a 40 team members research for youth aspirations in Syria. In 2010, Hani conducted a research on the 10 poorest villages in Syria from the point of view of entrepreneurial activities in these villages.
Currently, Hani is a researcher at the Innovation Management Institute, and pursuing his PhD at Aalto University department of Industrial Engineering and Management in Finland. Hani’s research interests are in innovation management, design thinking, open innovation, and business modeling. Hani is happily married and a father of one daughter.

TALAL RAMZI, PARTNER & CONSULTANT
Talal Ramzi is a founding partner of planit consulting. However, in mid 2003 he decided to dedicate his time to his career in TetraPak EastMed, where he is the Key Account Manager in the Syrian Market.
Talal has more than 10 years experience working with multinational companies. He was a consultant at Gaffney – Clien & Associates, Ltd, UK, Energy Advisor. After that, he worked as a sales engineer at the Mitsubishi Corporation Trading House. Then he held a position as a supply chain manager in Boston, MA with City Schemes. Upon his return to Syria, he was the marketing director of Kashlan Group, an FMCG producer, importer & distributer.
In 2001, Talal co-founded the Syrian Young Entrepreneurs Association. He is a co-founder and board member of the Management & Marketing Club that is in coordination with the European Commission Training Center in Damascus, Syria; and a member of the Syrian Management Consulting Association.
Talal received his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Damascus; and obtained his MBA from NorthEastern University, Boston, MA. He holds an International Certification of Managerial Training, issued from Ireland. Talal is happily married and a father of three.
